Clean Harbors provides safe, efficient environmental and waste management solutions to thousands of Retail locations across North America. We employ a variety of different types of drivers. The individuals who work for the retail division with have routes focused on segregating, packing and loading waste at retail locations nationwide. This is a role that includes driving a truck, providing a service, and understanding proper DOT placarding and shipping requirements.

Our trucks are utilized for picking up and transporting waste from various retail customer locations. Retail Driver (CDL A, B or C) provides a range of hazardous and non-hazardous material management and disposal services. As a Retail Driver you will segregate, package, and transport these materials to a Clean Harbors location or other disposal site. We also participate in Household Hazardous Waste events with the public as needed. Check out our openings below.

  • Pay: Hourly, OT after 40 hours. Per diem of $35 per day when traveling overnight.

Requirements:

  • Class A, B or C CDL or willing to obtain
  • Hazmat endorsement or willing to obtain
  • No more than 2 moving violations and no DUI’s in the last 3 years.
  • Responsible to maintain daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspection reports. Able to use Mobile Computer.
  • Travel Average: Regional, Able to travel up to 2 weeks at a time, most locations will be less. There is no on-call component in this role.

Qualifications:

Must have a Class A CDL, Must have your own truck, At least 1 year of verifiable OTR driving experience, Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, TWIC card is strongly preferred
